Well the numbers may not seemed big to a lot of bloggers but certainly it is a mark of joy to me to be able to have a viewership of 1000 readers on such a nice date 8.8.2008. It's a date where many will remember easily, where couples would like to tie their knots on this day and it's eve of Singapore National Day where many will wear RED attire to work as well as schools having celebrations on this day too.

It was least anticipated as I dont even conceptualise for this to happen. I was merely reading another blog and while switching back to my blog, I noted that the viewership has hit 1000w dot on 8Aug 2008 (although blogspot date is 7Aug cos it's US time).
The next 8.8.2018 or better still 8.8.2088 will be eons away so what a better way for this blog to gain recognition on this day.
I would like to give thanks to all that have commented on my posts (thanks to Motormouth, Jackson and Criz...) and would like to see the readership grow.
As at today it has logged more than 10 countries and 50 cities since I created the blog in May 2008 and it has been a wonderful experience sharing gastronomic delights with all foodies across continents.
